The marketing department is segregated into 3 major product category: Chocolate, Candy and Salty Snacks. Each category has its own category manager, brand manager and assistant brand manager that determines the brand's direction for the year. As part of the company re-structuring exercise, several major brands and catergory have been assigned their own marketing team, sales team, supply planning manager, finance manager, consumer insights manager and many more. The marketing department is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating all aspects that revolces around the 4 Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion). All promotional and advertising campaign are carried out to generate brand awareness and boost sales volume. The department is also tasked with monitoring the brand's health in the market. The department is part of the strategical team that develop products and communication campaigns after proper market research is done.
