Week 7: Spreading Joy

After weeks of planning, I was able to execute the internal competition with the assistance of the internal corporate affairs manager. After she disseminated the information of the competition out to all employees through email. The emails started flooding into my inbox with reply from employees who were interested in bringing their relative or friend to enjoy a day at KidZania. Once the entry deadline was closed, I had around 50 entries which was more than expected as based on previous responses, employees would not usually participate in any internal activities unless it is easy and lucrative. With a list of first 46 people secure, colleagues started to approach me for the vouchers. While giving out one by one, I was happy to see that they were very appreciative of receiving the vouchers. From this I learned that it is about giving back to the hardworking employees that have contributed so much for the company.
