Week 10: CNY Open House

One of the biggest celebration that company has was the March Open House & Chinese New Year Celebration. It was nearing the end of Chinese New Year, the company was waiting for most employees to return to work before carrying out the celebration. The CEO dressed up as the God of Wealth in the spirit of Chinese New Year. As everyone gathered at the pantry enjoying the buffet prepared and each other’s company after the 'Lao Sang' ceremony. It was truly a prosperous day. The company even invited a Lion Dance crew to bless the office with fortune and wealth. It was an interesting and joyful experience to have.

During the end of the week, Mei Ying and I had a monthly review catch up to discuss on the goals that I have achieved and the areas that still needed improvement. With limited time I have left in the company, I had to really push through the remaining 2 weeks to show myself as a capable individual of completing task given at the same time learning as much as possible.
